Lifetime GPS tracking for sex offenders

Florida Governor Jeb Bush signed a law today that would make it mandatory for convicted sex offenders to be implanted with a GPS device once they are "freed" from jail. This would allow them to be tracked via satellite anywhere in the world for the rest of their life! Is this really necessary? What is this going to help? Does this seem unconstitutional?

Actually I like that idea, I believe all this technology ends up being used for more for bad in the long run any way, in the interest of balancing good and evil…why not? It’s funny you posted that, I was just talking to someone last night that I got a map of offenders in my area, in one square mile there’s six, one’s just a couple apartments down the street. Actually I think they should have tested it on them before dogs. It should have been rats, child molesters, then dogs, rats first only to make sure it works. While their in there they can connect it to a miniature stun gun imbedded in their testicles. Then every time they get within a mile of a school or park….Bzzz. Every time they log on the internet… Bzzz… Bzzz. Every time they walk outside…Bzzz…Bzzz…Bzzz. Then at random a couple dozen times a day and about a dozen more while they try to sleep… Bzzz… Bzzz… Bzzz… Bzzz… Bzzz… Bzzzzzzzzzzz.

That’s still nowhere near as often as thier victims have to deal with it, they deal with it forever from the time it happens, not just after thier predator finally get’s caught and pays thier “debt to society”. There’s no known cure for child molesters even castration has been known to fail. There’s also no cure for the victims, in time they can heal somewhat but the scars and reminders are always there. The best they get is to be able to accept it and to be able to deal with it. Yea, you struck a nerve, NO I’ve never been molested.
