Toads are exploading – no one knows why. Scientists only know 2 things about this phenomenon: (1) "The bloated animals suffer for several minutes before they finally die"; and (2) as far as the cause of explosion is concerned, they have "ruled out the possibility that it is a fungus that made its way from South America".
